Helping animals is something that I focus my life around. I have an open heart for helping animals however possible. I graduated from Parkland College and have been a certified veterinary technician since 1998. On top of being a certified tech, I also am certified as a Canine Animal Rehabilitation Practitioner. I earned my certification in December 2006 from the University of Tennessee and Northeast Seminars. I offer physical rehabilitation for animals at Dupage Animal Hospital.  The rehab program is called
Pet Pedics and it is ran through DuPage Animal Hospital. Call to schedule an appointment!

I have been a technician at Dupage Animal Hospital since 1986.  I really enjoy working with the animals and talking with clients.  I especially like to do the dental cleanings and dental care for the pets. At home I have three cats of my own along with one bird.

Hi, my name is Jade and I have been a part of the DuPage Animal Staff since September 2006. Since the age of six, I have wanted to be a veterinarian. I grew up with a Rhodesian Ridgeback, cat, and gerbils. I currently have four wonderful Maine Coon cats: Lancelot, Guinivere, Maximus, and Maely. I love them all dearly, but I often refer to Maximus as my "boyfriend." I completed my undergrad at Loyola University Chicago in May of 2006 earning a degree in biology. I thought it would be best to take a year off and work in the veterinary field. Now a year has turned into two years off because I truly love and enjoy working as a technician. I plan to apply to vet school this summer. Wish me luck!

I started working at DuPage in September of 2007 as a technician. I have been a technician since 2005. At home I have a handsome lab mix and a pretty mixed kitty named Big Mama. My little kitty came in as a stray and is FIV+ but with love and TLC she is doing wonderful. Cody, my lab, is a gentle and sweet boy. I am attending school to become a certified veterinary technician and enjoy learning. In my off time I like to camp and boat with my husband and family.

I have been working here at DuPage since May of 2006. I began as a kennel technician and currently work as a vet tech. Being a vet tech has been very rewarding and I am looking forward to furthering my education and becoming a veterinarian. I am currently attending Elmhurst College which takes up most of my time. At home I enjoy spending time with family and my 5 year old chinese shar-pei Harley. I am excited to see what the future has in store for me here at DuPage and the experiences.

I started working at DuPage in 2001 in the kennel. Quickly after working in this position I worked my way into being a vet tech. I enjoy my job as I have always enjoyed sharing my time and life with cats, dogs and my ferrets. In my spare time I enjoy scrap booking and my favorite football team, Green Bay Packers.

Kim

Hi! I’m Kim , and I became a part of DuPage Animal Hospital in 2007, at the age of 17. I studied at the clinic through a Career Internship program in high school for a semester, which introduced me to the whole process of how an animal hospital operates. I enjoyed it so much that I decided I would love to be a part of the vet tech crew. Currently, I am a kennel technician and training as a vet tech. Working here is more than just a ‘job.’ It has always been a dream to help animals in need. Although sorrow does follow with certain cases, the rewarding experiences are what make it all worthwhile.  At home, I own a young and very active Doberman Pinscher, who D.A.H.’s own Dr. Mary Felt, DVM, nicknamed “Crazy Kodi,” for his hyperactive behavior. He absolutely loves coming to the clinic and kissing our staff. This summer, I will begin studying photography in college, which is another passion of mine. I studied film photography all 4 years of high school, and became the Lab Assistant for two photo classes. My goal is to become a wildlife photographer, and expose the beauty and importance of conservation. This way I will get the best of both worlds, and hopefully make a positive difference in the world. I've always found animals to be so completely fascinating; mostly because they are completely underestimated and misunderstood.
